In addition to providing early childhood education, Child-Parent Centers is also committed to helping families break the cycle of poverty.
We achieve this objective by offering education and literacy opportunities to our parents through English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and General Equivalency Diploma (GED) programs.
Our agency is committed to the belief that it is through education that we all become better equipped to support our children's development both socially as well as educationally.
For over 10 years our agency has offered GED and ESOL classes for our parents as well as computer training, and job skills preparation. Participants of these courses must be parents with children enrolled in Head Start.
