Job Title : Children's Services Specialist IV

Job Summary: Responsible for a group of assigned centers, assures that a comprehensive early childhood/family-based program is delivered and quality is maintained for all children, including those with disabilities. Observes, trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned teaching staff. Assists in identifying children with disabilities and serves as a liaison to the public school system. Advocates for all children and families within the program. Coordinates activities with other departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or agreed equivalent that supports high quality implementation of our program as determined by the agency. A copy of your official or unofficial transcripts must be submitted with the employment application.
  • Two years working experience in a preschool classroom/ECE setting AND 1 year supervisory experience of early childhood classroom staff.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (reading, writing, and oral communication) in English.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, may include more than an eight-hour day in some situations.

Transportation Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and excellent driving record. Attach to application a three year driving record obtained from the motor vehicle division.
  • Must be able to travel extensively to and from various sites within their own assigned area daily in private vehicle.
  • Must provide a copy of state-required proof of insurance issued by insurance companies every six months.
  • Must be able to travel outside their assigned area in company-owned vehicle. This travel could begin before daylight hours and continue after sundown in some situations.

 

Salary:

Grade 49-1 $1,450.40 bi-weekly- CS Specialist IV with BA in Early Childhood Education

40 hours per week, 52.2 working weeks per year
