| Job Title : | Driver/Custodian (Request More Information About this Position and How to Apply) |
| Job Summary: | Cleans classroom(s), kitchen, bathroom, and office facilities to insure that they are free of dirt, odors, insects, and vermin. Cleans playground to insure that it is free of dangerous objects, debris, and weeds. Completes Center Maintenance Checklist. Notifies supervisor of maintenance needs and/or safety hazards related to all areas of the center. Performs minor repairs around the center, (e.g., servicing of coolers, fixing broken tables and swings, repair of sprinklers, etc.) |
| Minimum Qualifications: | 1. Educational Requirement: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. (Attach proof to application.) 2. Experience Requirements: A. Must have a minimum of 6 months child care experience. B. Must be able to do minor vehicle servicing, e.g. water in radiator, change tires, etc. C. Must be able to do heavy cleaning and moving of classroom furniture. D. Must be able to do yard work, operate a weed eater, grass cutter, etc. 2. Transportation Requirement: Possess a valid Arizona driver's license and excellent driving record and pass an insurance check. (Attach to application a copy of current valid AZ license and 3 year driving record obtained MVD.) |
| Preferred Qualifications: | Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish. |
| Salary: | Grade 25- $9.55/hr, 25 hours per week 42 working weeks per year |
